Yes, I like the red better! (Could just be me, though.)

As much as I love blue, (it's my favorite color) I think it would look nice with a neutral as the border. How about a deep tan?

I'm not a super fan of black, but like how it highlights your cute little scrappy blocks, so I wouldn't use black for the border, I see some pinks and greens that I would play on or even the yellows. Maybe a thin yellow, then a strip of the beige background and then a wider green? You have a fun quilt to play with! Please show us when you are done - I will be watching.

Black and red would work, as others suggested, but I wonder what it would look like with an inner border of brown and outer border of the blue you're showing. Maybe I'm nuts.

I guess I could go with the dark blue that you have laid out for your wider outer border but the light blue with the beautiful colors appears to be grayed and dull. If you are trying to work from your stash, add a perky bright color as suggested in other posts as your inner border to pull out the sparkle form you scrappy four patches.

loisf is right on. Black border will pop those scrappy colors in the quilt. I vote for a yellow inner border just because I am loving yellow right now.

I think a flange would be great in yellow and a red border.

I like the yellow with the dark outer border - either is much better than the blue. Great quilt by the way!!
