    I vote for #3 with the narrow border near the center and wider, darker border on the very outside of the quilt.

    Number 1 is my favorite also as that is what I was thinking when you first posted. I like the darker green from the border strip next to the quilt blocks. My only "worry" is whether you will lose that lighter green outer strip on the border strip when you bind it. Not a big deal as you could do whatever color/texture binding you wanted to "frame" it. It is a beautiful quilt no matter what you do!!!
