    Default Canadian quilters

Has anyone ordered rotary blades from Amazon Canada. I need new blades my source has dried up. Just went to LQS a pkg. of 2 blades was $32.98. They only carry Olfa. I won't pay that much, hopefully. LOL.

Sorry, can't help you out on this one!

    WOW ... talk about pricey!
I know they have gone up, but that seems over the top.

I did buy some before Christmas at Michael's ... forget the price.
But with one of their 50% off coupons, I know it sure made a difference.

Looks like I better make a habit of nabbing them with Michael's coupons
and keep my blade stash replenished!

I also use a Michael's 50% off coupon for rotary blades.

I haven't tried Amazon; seems like a gamble for generic blames of unknown quality. I mostly order them from Connecting Threads when they have a sale (either Martelli or Clover brand). Michael's with a coupon is my fallback choice.

How do you find the Clover blades? I've been thinking of trying those as they are
quite a bit cheaper than Olfa.

I like the Clover blades. I find the quality comparable to Olfa, with the added bonus of being easy to install. The plastic holder thingies are great.

Thanks for your feedback. That's right...they pack their blades individually.
Beats having to separate those sharp blades. I will definitely place an order.

Amazon.ca has a pkg of 10 for $23.99 carbide steel. Here is the link https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01HG0O4L2?psc=1
Precision Cutting Tools is the seller & there is a money back guarantee. I think I will place an order as it's worth trying them as they are only $2.40/blade. Even if they cut only half as much as Olfa or Clover it is still less expensive.

I have a Kai 45 mm rotary cutter (which I love) and the blades for that are $6.99 from their website. Free shipping.
