That is absolutely gorgeous and the kitty is pretty darn adorable too. Scissor Queen asked about the white in her block in another posting and she should look at your quilt and see how the white makes it "sparkle."

the binding makes the border really stand out < I like this way, I do all my quilts this style it's just sort of puts the finishing touch to the complete quilt.
love the pattern and colors.
