Alot of borders bookstores are closing their doors and they are selling everything including shelving units. We bought a couple for our theater room to store DVD s on with lights in top 2 of their smaller units for 150.00 they had floor to ceiling ones double sided one unit 150.00 I think they would be great for fabric storage the double sided ones are actually 2 bookcases back to back.Thought some of you ladies might be interested I know I want one for my sewing room.

Thanks for the heads up. There's a Borders closing by me - I'll be visiting as soon as the roads are cleared. Six inches of snow today - UGH.

What a shame that book stores are closing. People don't read much any more, especially the younger ones. It's tap on the computer in language that is made up, and then they wonder why they don't get good grades in English.

The book cases would have to be built to accept great weights, so they would be marvelous for fabrics. Might as well get them while you can, it's doubtful that many book stores will open in the future.
