I really like the original width brown border that's the same width as the cream border. Makes everything more cohesive and soothing to the eye. Having the cream, then the skinny brown and then the jump to the wide pink border seems to make it more jarring to the eye. JMHO only for what little it's worth. :) It's gorgeous no matter what you decide.

Love the way the brown makes the field kind of 'float' within the pink.

I like both, but I think the brown border makes the pink stand out more. Sending up prayers for your aunt.

The addition of the narrow brown border stops the quilt and gives it a frame. It really improves the whole look and is much more finished. Your pattern is great and the fabrics wonderful. it will be beautiful when finished! Your Aunt will love it. Hope all is and goes well for her

The brown really softens up the sharpness of the pink. I love pink. It is a beautiful quilt.
