My dh is usually pretty good to help when I ask. But I have found that just starting things can bring him in on a project pretty quickly.

FOOD is the greatest bribe for men. I usually put on something that will smell real good and start rearanging and he shows up ASAP I think he thinks if he helps it will get done faster and he will get to eat whatever I'm fixing.

Tell him you are going to your LQS for fabric or you will stay home if he will help you in the sewing room.

You probably won't be able to cook or do laundry till you rearrange it yourself. (or whatever else you do for him that he would miss!)!!
