Pretty elevator floor. Go for it.

We also were in Lowe's today , and I looked at those reproduction backsplashes and thought how it looked like a quilt. Too funny.

Oh it's sooo nice to not be alone! ROFL I do this all the time!! Just like with photography, everything is light to me.

So now not only do i look at things in terms of light, NOW i have this whole QUILTING thing too!

Oh my goodness! That is funny! :lol: DH and DD are photographers so I understand where you are coming from. You have multiple affllictions! lol Ah yes sweet addictions!

dkabasketlady - Who would have thought? A Disappearing 9 Patch for an elevator floor! The colors would make a great fall quilt. ;-)

Yes, I fired the contractor laying the bricks for my patio - years ago. And then, a couple yrs. ago I was replacing the 4" tiles between kitchen lower & upper cabinets. I had the tiles laid out & made the contractor install them in my arrangement. They came out great.

Go somewhere that has tile flooring (old churches for example)and see how that has been done. I see all kinds of patterns. Take a picture for reference.

Another place for quilt layout is your favorite crossword puzzle.
