Bright red solid

Bright red solid
Has anyone ever ordered from Fabric Depot? I need 2 yards of a solid red for the border on my large apple core quilt. So many look pink and say red. Found one on Fabric Depot that says Betty's Red and I think it was a bella solid which is what I was googling. Anyone also know the color name of a vibrant bright red? So many shades and to me none of them look bright red.
Thanks

I have a friend that went there recently and another that has bought from them and was pleased with their service. I always try to find the best price also on shipping. Fabric Shack has a bright red Bella Moda called cherry.

Red is one of those colors that seems to have an unlimited amount of undertones. I'd have to see it side by side with what I wanted to match to make sure the color was right. Even then, red color seems to change with the light source. I wish you all the good luck in the world trying to find the right red for your project.

I've never ordered from FabricDepot, so I'm no help there.
Looking at my Bella colour chart, Betty's Red is pretty red. It's a little more intense than Scarlet, which I would call a light red. Christmas Red is more saturated and vibrant than Betty's Red and therefore slightly darker. Country Red is a dark vibrant red.
Does that help at all or are you even more confused now?

I can tell you that Kona's (my preferred solid) 'Tomato' red is slightly orangey, so if you want a more 'apple' red, I suggest 'Red' or 'Poppy'. I photographed my colour chart for you, which may be of limited help due to differences in monitors, but it may give you an idea
