Sorry about your accident....I know you MUST be having withdrawals. :) Might be a good time to go through your quilting magazines, clean out and tear out the patterns/ideas for quilts that you "might" do someday. That's what I do when I'm incapacitated.

in the 8th week of basically the same break, hang in there it will get better. starting therapy the second time the first they tried too much too fast and messed me up for a couple of weeks, just be careful and use the pain meds when needed. I can cut some now have tried on the machine but it is a little to high. Use the time to get a good emotional and mental start to the rest of your life. read and pray, love to you

So sorry to hear about your accident. I hope your recovery is fast and successful. I am having surgery on my right hand in 3 weeks and the recovery time is 6 months. I am an avid Applique person and it is going to be difficult for me to be away from it for that long. I understand the problems you are facing, I will be right there with you, sewing sista.

I can only imagine how painful that has been. My right shoulder is bad with tendon tear and arthritis and tendinitis and it is painful enuf. Do get better soon. No fun having to lay the quilting aside.
