    do not ever trade a Bernina for anything less than a babylock.
    Sit down with that SWISS machine and thread it again and again until you become friends. The problem is never the machine - it is sitting in front of it :lol:

    OUCH! Some machines are very difficult to thread and there is absolutely nothing wrong with buying a machine that is easy from the get-go.

    I brought my first serger home and would spend 30 minutes threading it for 10 minutes of sewing...and forget switching colors! It never seemed to get any easier, either. When I got my Babylock, I had it threaded and sewing perfectly in 5 minutes. I want to spend my time sewing, not learning to thread.
