I have a new BSR and learning how to use it. Just wondering how quilters with this feature like it and if you have any advice on using it. Thanks

Some people love theirs or don't care for it at all. I learned to FMQ without it but find I really like it. I can FMQ while tired and not have to concentrate as much. Without a stitch regulator you really need to focus. It allows me to be more lazy:> My one hint would be to remember to decrease your stitch length the smaller size FMQ you go as you need the decreased length in small curves etc.

I like mine, have had no problems with using it. The only advie I have is to take it in when you have your machine serviced, since there are sometimes updates for the software in the BSR.

Best advice I can give you - make sure you activate the foot (I think it's by hitting the scales button). I had mine, kept putting the foot on, and not noticing a difference with that and the regular FMQ foot. Kept working with it, thought I saw a difference, but not a lot. Posted on here, and, yeah, duh, I had to turn the foot on. *face palm*
