I started a photo memory quilt and used Bubble Jet 2000 and my ink-jet printer to create blocks with photos. They printed well but when I used the Bubble Jet Rinse, some of the photos have light green circles. Of course, those photo quilt blocks are ruined. The blocks looked so good before the rinse. I followed directions very carefully and used 100% cotton fabric. Some of the photos turned out well. Anyone have experience with Bubble Jet 2000 or have suggestions for what I did or did not do correctly.

Do you have a printer that uses Viera inks? Maybe read this thread http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-878-1.htm seems like Bubble Jet 2000 is not making a special solution for these printers!
Sorry this product let you down.

I have an older HP (960c . . . 78 series ink) so thought it would work well, which it did until I used the rinse. There is obviously some kind of chemical reaction. I spent a lot of time in PhotoShop and was happy with the way the old photos came out when printed. So glad they were not in a finished quilt I washed. It will be a memory quilt for my grandmother. Maybe I'll have photos of the finished quilt to share one day!
