Thanks, Brenda and thepolyparrot! It is soooo much more fantabulous to the natural eye. I can't wait to quilt it. I have to confess that I got all jammed up with one row and had to rip the whole thing out ~ and I spent some more time with the seam ripper to make sure the seams lined up. I am so excited about this one!

Thank you. I just LOVE this board. Everyone is so incredibly helpful and supportive! And ... I just found another pile of completed blocks so I can do one more row! (*ahem* we now know who needs to do some serious tidying of her studio)

What great blocks. I think I would go with the suggestions by the polyparrot, good design options. Just play with the blocks until they come out like you want them to be. Enjoy the journey
