Try the Snuggly Bug Quilt Pattern using Chenille by the Inch. I made this quilt several years ago and had fun searching for bug fabric and then using the chenille by the inch to create two dimensional bugs on the quilt!

I saw a pattern in a magazine (I have it somewhere) that was an I spy with the focus fabric under magnifying glasses around the focus piece. If you'd like I'll see if I can find it and post the directions and picture.

OMG bed bugs are not funny! Make it a Doodle Bug theme or something really cute, for nature lovers.

Lord yall have my head and everything itching talking about bugs and then I heard on the news a minute ago about some fire dept. being over run with brown recluse spiders. I must take everything out of my house and spray and vacuum and mop and start over!!! NOT!

I have thought about it, and even found a web site that has bug fabric; http://www.bugfabric.com. I haven't gotten far enough into my thought about a pattern. Just wanted you to know that there are more sick minds out there like yours and you are not alone. :-D

It started as what I needed for a jar quilt and expanded into having them for who knows what. Last night it came to me to use them to make a quilt, to be used on a bed, and call it:

    the BED BUG QUILT!

I've been hearing on the news about the bed bug problem in this country, and thought, wouldn't that make a wonderful Christmas gift?

Okay, I'll stop now, and bask in the sunshine of my creative brilliance alone

(if this was someone's idea before, I DIDN'T copy it, this was a thought that my brain thought was original, I guess that person is brilliant too!)

Anyone want to toss out patterns that would work?
How about bug jars. I have been thinking about doing a jar wall hanging.
