I had 3 different different Bridal showers when I was getting married. And then 3 different baby showers when my son was born. Different people different times. So maybe this wasn't the only one she is going to have!

Yup! That's how its done around here - coworkers, friends and neighbors at one shower - then a family shower.

I love the colors! Beautiful quilting!!

What a cute quilt and your DH did a good job on the backing fabric.

They should have invited you. Look what they missed out on!

Beautiful quilt, and I would be calling a family member who would be in the know and ask when it is. I can't imagine you wouldnt be invited.

That's a beautiful baby quilt. Once I had made a quilt for a babyshower and never was invited....I had stood up in the parents' wedding the year before so I just assumed I'd be on the guest list. I still have the quilt eleven years later. It was all for a good reason, however, since it was the inspiration to try that baby quilt that brought me back to quilting. Prior to that I had only made one quilt in home economics class when I was a senior (many years before).

Mothers don't normally put on their own baby showers, so it may not be her oversight if you're not invited. I certainly didn't throw my own. The quilt is beautiful, and I'm sure she'll love it whether it's given at a baby shower or not.
