I think you should buy as much as you can at your local walmart.

Quilting Warehouse (link above) is the best price I have found online. It's 1.714 per yard for a full bolt (35 yds for 59.99). It's 2.20 per yard at my LQS.

Do you have a Joann's? Maybe you could get a good deal by buying a large amount and using a 40 or 50% off coupon. I haven't bought any there in ages so I am not sure what it costs. Just an idea.

I would try Joanne's online...their prices are pretty comparable to in the stores. I don't know where else would be cheap.

The 35 yard bolt is 74.99 at JoAnn.com. With a 40% coupon that's 1.29 a yard, with a 50% coupon it would be 1.07 a yard. I think we have a winner!!

SaS2 is much gummier to sew through, even the Lite version. I used to use it all the time, but switched to Wonder Under about six months ago and will never go back again! :-D

I recently made an appliqued crazy chicken quilt for oldest grand daughter. I used the prepackaged regular weight and then went and bought the lite weight. After ironing all pieces on, none of my 3 sewing machines would stitch good on edges. It all came out too stiff and made them get all out of whack (tension, top & bottom) and sticky stuff on needles. I ended up doing all sewing by hand and even that was a pain in the butt as it was so hard to get needle thru but after appliquing almost 20 blocks I did not want to throw them out so I did old fashioned blanket stitch. Won't buy anymore prepackaged. Don't have that problem with the stuff I buy by the yard at local Walmart. So far our walmart is still carrying fabric and every time I go in I guy something in that dept to help with their sales totals as I don't want it to close down.
