Can anyone help with kona colors please?

I wrote Robert Kaufman Fabric to ask if chain store Kona is the same quality as LQS. The Customer Service Manager at Kaufman said that the quality was the same. The difference? Chain stores get 25 colors, LQS have over 200 from which to choose. She called this her biggest Urban legend!
