I've only known about this site a couple of months and just happened upon it. I eat my breakfast sitting here reading, eat my lunch here and supper here. I chat live at night before going to bed. This place is educational, warm friendly people with the same interests, forever friends and is my daily therapy. I have learned a lot and love seeing others' works and families. I just hope this site never ends. Love to all, Mary

It's a good thing you don't need water to quilt!!! I totally agree with everyone else about the wonderful people here and about the joy it is to "visit" with everyone. And, yes, I, too, spend time reading, looking at pictures, checking great links, and responding when I should be quilting   And now I may have "met" some new friends in my local area. How fun is thatQ

My excuse is research. I research a lot, but not getting any sewing done, or at least not as much as I used to before stumbling onto this board. I love it,though.

I am new to quilting. I have done tying and some stitching on small stuff, but I want to expand now. I found your site about 3 months ago and have been educating myself since. I read as much as I can and have learned a lot. Those of you who have years of experience and have told us about them have taught me many things. The websites and tutorial are great and I have bookmarked as many as I can. So now when I get brave enough to jump into my first big quilt I will have a little more confidence.
You all are so funny and such sense of humor you have. I laugh out loud as some of the funny things I read.
So I agree---I love this space too!!!
