Default Can I use Sizzix dies in a Go machine?

I believe I read where the Go dies fit in the Sizzix machine, but what about the other way around? I have a Go but am finding the Sizzix dies are way cheaper. Can I buy Sizzix dies and use them in my Go machine?

    Thanks for the help...

I don't think so. Go dies are shorter, so you can use them in the Sizzix with a shim. Sizzix dies are too tall for the Go.

No...GO only takes GO dies....but do like I did...buy a big shot by Sizzix, buy dies that you want....I only buy GO dies if I have no other choice....

You can use Sizzix dies in the Studio with an adapter, but you cannot use them in the GO, GO Baby or Electric Go. They are thicker than these machine allow. You can use GO dies in a Sizzix cutter with adapters or shims, and you can us the Studio dies without an adapter. I have the GO and the Sizzix Big Shot Pro and do use my GO dies and O have bought some Studio dies to use with it, even though I don't have a Studio machine.

Thanks for asking this sewbizgirl - I recently acquired a Sizzix Vagabond cutter and some dies at a going out of business quilt store auction, but one of the strip dies is for a 12" machine. At least now I know that I can't get a GO machine to use that one.
