I have a quilt planned for DS and DIL but my quilt Wizard program is not printing out my yardages and rotary cutting directions. She wants it Red, Black and white. My colors look blue but it is supposed to be black. The blocks will be 12 inches. I want to make it 6 blocks by 8 blocks with the heart in the middle I want to go fabric shopping tomorrow so I can spend my Christmas money! Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

I have tried to get my EQ5 to print out the cutting directions also but it will not. Could this be a EQ5 problem?

What you are showing is 4x4, not 6x8. I also don't see the white in your picture. However, assuming the entire quilt is black on one side of the log cabin and white on the other with red centers, you will need the following yardages (42" width): white: 3-3/8; black 4; red 1/2. I couldn't make the same shape heart, but you could probably figure out yardages based on percentages.

I do like how you've placed this heart!

In EQ6, to print the fabric requirements for your quilt, have your QUILT on your 'worktable'. Select File, Print, and one of the options is 'Fabric Yardage'.

With your BLOCK on your 'worktable', the File, Print menu lets you print the block, foundations, templates, photo, embroidery design or rotary cutting directions.

Hope this helps!
Linda

Thank You Kimbie for sending the the yardage and sizes to cut!
Looks like a lot of cutting! I am going to start that part this afternoon.
