Can you mix batik with regular quilt material?
I was going to do pumpkin apps out of the Batik

I have done it and it came out good. Someone ask this the other day and several said they had also.

Only if you are wearing white shoes at the time. Of course, that is the beauty of creating - we can do whatever we want - can't wait to see it.

Yes! I do it all the time. I make sure not to use lower quality cottons with the batik though, as the better quality fabrics will hold up longer to the tight weaving of the batiks.

I don't have any but, I would mix them if I had batiks. No quilt police here, maybe some wannabes.

Just be sure to wash them first, from what I've read here some of the colors run like they had heard the starting pistol!!!!
