That sure would have been a lot easier if the original poster had told us where she got the photo of the tablerunner! Here's the link. http://www.quiltmaker.com/patterns/d...html?idx=12514

Thank you all for your help. I will look for that magazine. Sorry I had no
idea where my friend got the picture and she's on vacation right now so
couldn't ask her.

I cannot believe I actually made this "Hope of hartford" in a quilt for my son. and did not rocognise it in a table runner, especially with different colors.

I found a block in Barbara Brackman's Encylopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns called Double Windmill. It is under listing #4204. Looks like it is the same one.

I have found that exact same table runner in the Quiltmaker Magazine for July and August, 2010. it is on page 62. I am replying for the first time to this site, even though I have read it often. This morning I was reading my new magazine and saw it or I probably would not have recognized it. Hope this helps....

Is it called Double Star. I think I saw it this morning when looking for a pattern for a baby quilt.

It's a beautiful table runner, but as with Hope of Hartford pattern I'm thinking it has those partial seams in it...which I really don't like. Look forward to seeing your version!
