The quality of the fabric is more important than the age. If it was well stored and cared for, being "vintage" doesn't matter. I do recognize a few of the vintage fabrics. For example, one of the pink florals is in the vintage quilt wrapped around me right now! My great grandmother made it. I also recognize other prints from quilts my great grandmother and grandmother made, and prints I've seen in the local Quilt Shop that obviously aren't vintage. But don't put me to the test! I'd hate to be graded on being right on this! You're only getting my best guess.

Bet your quilt will be fantastic!

My guess is the first 10 are vintage. The colors are so cheerful! I think they would all look fabulous together. Please post a pic when you're done, OK?

I love them all, new or old, blends or 100% cotton - they all will make a great quilt. As for the age, older fabrics were 36" wide, 44/45 were the last 30 years, and now 40/42 is becoming the norm.

I love your vintage fabrics. I to love vintage fabric. They have such a comforting feeling. I hope to be starting a quilt using them shortly. Hope you will post a picture of your quilt when it's done.

I'd say the 7 on the left (upper) are vintage, and the peachy one in the middle, but darned if I can pick two more. I'm looking forward to finding out the answer, but regardless, they all look great together.
