I'd love to see this in Kaffe fabrics, maybe I'll do just that after I've finished Bonnie Hunters mystery quilt!

WOW KarenK thanks for the link. Beautiful quilt. It's much more simple than it appears and the example has appliqued circles rather than a hexagon. I'm putting this on my "to do" list.

onaemtnest, take your time, and make one block, do not think about the whole quilt, just have fun making one block, and you be o.k.

sorry I can't help you I am also pattern dependent............thank goodness for QB members, but that quilt is beautiful at first glance I thought of diner dishes and the more I looked at it the more I wanted a real set of dishes like that with matching cups and saucers, have fun making your quilt

That is one gorgeous quilt! Will put it in my "must make" pile for after the first of the year. That pile is growing. So much fantastic fabric out there, and in my stash, and so many terrific patterns. Thank you, KarenK, for tracking down the pattern. I quilt from patterns like I cook from recipes; they are a starting point and while I usually follow them to the end I always like to add my own touch to each. This does not always result in a good thing, but that is what seam rippers are for and I have an understanding DH who eats whatever I make.
