It's a perfect way to baste and be sitting down. At guild we put two fold out tables end to end for big quilts. The boards are lightweight and easy to turn from the middle. For the bigger quilts I do one side and move my chair and do the other side, roll and continue basting. Six guild members basted 19 quilts this way in an afternoon. The hard part? Finding a place to store the long boards.

Yes, it was Sharon Schamber's website where I saw it. It inspired me to take on quilting a baby quilt on my own machine. I love her techniques and I was proud of the way the quilt came out. I am now a fan.
