Default Can't find a post with a Silhouette Quilt.....ugh!

There was a post. "SOMEWHERE" here on this site. I cannot find it for the life of me.

It was done with a silhouette of two men on horses. Looked like a sunset background. I remember the poster saying she did it in one day (over achiever, lol). But the pics were that of a friend and her son. It was FABULOUS!

I wish I could find it again as I'd like to show someone in a quilt guild in hopes I could get something done in a similar way.

Any help?
Pretty please?
Thanks much!

Oh this is perfect, thanks!

I just think this is stunning. I've never tried a silhouette before and there is a quilt show with a Western Theme coming up this fall.....I'd like to try my hand at it

Thanks ladies!

If memory serves me right...(That is asking a lot!)
Take a picture of what you want, photo-copy it.
Take copy of pic and double-sided fusible web, using a lite-box or sunny window, trace the outline of the pic (the part you want black) onto fusible web,
iron web to black fabric,
cut out outline,
layout on background fabric, iron in place. I would sew around silhouette.
I did this for cat stairway to heaven quilt years ago and it has held up fine.
I hope I made that easy to follow.

Did a silhouette of grandson swinging a bat. It was just a small rectangle with his name . Just enlarge a photo, cut the outline of him out. Then cut it out of black fabric. Best part when I gave it to him he said "that's me". To this day, 6 years later it still hangs on his bedroom door.
