    For me, it isn't the chair, it is the height of the chair. I actually prefer a drafting chair so I can really be above the work. I have a very bad back, and someone suggested I get up higher and it worked. To test it out whether a higher chair is better for you put several cushions on whatever you have and see if it is more comfortable for you.

    Purchase something that is comfortable for you.

    I have a chair from the Container store (you can buy on line) looks like it is made of bungee cords. I take it to retreats and everyone wants one! I get great leg/back support and because of the way it is made I don't get sweaty! I live in Tucson so its' a big deal here!!
