I guess I'm an oddball. I sit in a wooden rocking chair in front of my sewing machine. When I need a break, I just lean back and rock a while. haha

I sew from a table which my husband made for me. it is counter height which is perfect when cutting.

So for sewing, I purchased a bar stool and this works just fine.

Just purchased a new one. It is an adjustable (height), roll around , moveable arms (roll back out of the way) but the newest thing is a mesh back. It is so nice, cooler because the air will flow through and it is lighter weight. Picked it up at Walmart for (I think) $69 plus tax. Love it! !

Ditto to a good office chair; adjustable with no arms.

ABSOLUTELY!! I Love to sew, and you know how it is..."hours later", I had very bad back ache. I also use this cushion, and have no backache!

Armless chair - adjustable, so I can raise it to use my computer, lower it to be at the right level when sewing. I bought a $1 back support at Dollar store (thanks to a tip here on the QB). I had to tie it to the back of my chair - but, hey, who cares what it looks like - it works!

Adjustable rolling office chair. A friend gave us a big piece of sheepskin and I have a piece of it on my chair which I like.
