I love hearing about your gifts. I was lucky too, with a Cotton Club voucher from my 21yr old son and quilting books from my DH.

I am sorry, but I have not kept up with the board through the holiday. Why are you in the waiting room? I have a few back issues if you are in need.I think if you send me a private message I will see it sooner.
Blessing to you, happy Holidays and wishing a Happy Healthy new Year!

I was really blessed this year. From family and friends, I received: LQS gift certificate, scissors, thread catcher bag, homemade peanut brittle, strawberry cake, Cutco knife, fudge kit, house shoes, clothes, book light, clock radio with CD player, Jim Shore angel, Jim Shore dish, cologne, Christmas ornaments, flower stand, framed pictures of my granddaughter, etc., and I wasn't even a good girl...just imagine if I had been. Now, where am I going to put the stuff I can't eat???

OHHHHHH. I'm not sure what you got but you can sent it my way. I have been looking at the cricut, accuquilt go and some other cutting tools.

I got $50 from my mom, and sold my old computer on Kijiji for $50.(it went out the door 2 hours after posting it!!)
So, $100 in hand, I went to Michaels and got another piece of storage furniture. It's the scrapbooking stuff that comes in module cubes. This one is a stand alone file cabinet size with three drawers and a space for magazines, and best of all it has a fold up leaf so the top becomes a table big enough for my cutting mat, or a small ironing board! It was on for half price.-- Score!
And - I cashed in my Canadian Tire Money (you get 2%on all cash purchases in CTC money) . We save it up all year and cash it in for our Boxing Day shopping spree. - I got a cordless drill - that I've been wanting for over a year! Double score!

I received two books - "Hidden In Plain View - A Secret Story of Quilts and the Underground Railroad" and "Hobo Quilts" which has 55+ quilt blocks based on symbols used by those who road the rail in the Depression years. Lots of intersting bits in both books. Also received a JoAnns gift card...daughter says I have to go to Shakopee to spend it..:)...and also got a different digital camera from another daughter and her husband...and a lot of love!
