Christmas Project Weekend Retreat
#23
Okay everyone, how many of you are like me and have unfinished projects that need to be ready to gift on Wednesday? I have at least three!
(1) Quilt for niece
(2) Stocking for DH
(3) Mug rugs for mother in law (not even started yet, oops)
This is your support group to power through these projects! I'm off to my sewing room with my coffee right now. Oh, and I'm hosting a Christmas party tomorrow.

For a change, I put my sewing machine away Satrurday morning. (except to sew a strap back on my purse a few minutes ago)

it's now 9:30pm on Christmas Day--I had to send IOU's to my brother and sis-in-law for lapquilts--I'm in KS and they are in ID and I swear it takes about a week to get stuff to them either UPS or USPS--that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! My sis-in-laws is still on the long arm and I'm cogitating what to do with it.
I'm tired of always rushing to finish stuff by Christmas--and forget other holidays, they are totally not happening. How about some of you more organized quilters forming a "Christmas Rush Recovery" group and getting the rest of going on stuff in June?? I need your help!
