Default Chuckle: My "built in bluetooth" fabric

So I was lamenting about the huge quantity of this fabric that I have. Although I use it for every test sample I do, I still have about 10 yards (long story how I got it). I tried bleaching it completely white, figuring I could use it for dying. The fabric turned grey-blue but those evil little teeth refused to go. And the metallic printing, which almost always washes out of fabrics, stubbornly didn't wash out of this. I did successfully bleach a big spot in the BACK of the shirt I was wearing that day, though. Go figure.

Of course, my SO, so good at painting the rosy picture, says, "But Tee! Any quilt you make with this fabric will have "built in Bluetooth".

He couldn't be more right. Henceforth this will be my bluetooth fabric. And every single quilt I make from now on will have "built in bluetooth". It will be my signature.

    Chuckle.

Thanks! I like it very much, just not 10 yards worth of like.

10 yards????? Maybe you could make some scrub type tops and sell them at dentists offices. Or make those chair pads that tie around a straight chair and sell them to dentists offices - LOL

Or make myself a straight jacket, LOL. I actually DON'T sew clothing, so making sellable clothing items is probably outside my ballyhoo. But thank you very much for the idea.

I am thinking about making a "bluetooth" quilt, with just this print and maybe scrappy whites....for chuckles. And I, of course, would use this fabric for backing too!

When you said built in blue tooth I was thinking you were going to tell us that you accidentally sewed your bluetooth device into the quilt. But that fabric is cute.

Would definitely make the tooth fairy pillows to sell for craft shows and if you know any small children that will or are loosing teeth this would make a nice gift. You might even be able to sell some of them to dental offices.

Just use for backings for a couple of kids quilts. 10 yards seems like "not that big of a deal" to me. I'd be thrilled to use it for backings.

    The fabric is adorable!
