sounds like you bought them from MS EFFIE on ebay....
I don't remember the seller. They were bundles specifically put together for Dear Jane. I used probably half of them in my avatar quilt.

Deb's Cats & Quilts in Franklin, NC, has a wonderful assortment of Civil War reproduction fabrics. I made a CW quilt for my son for Christmas and he has taken it to the university where he teaches to show it off in the history department.

I order from Stitch N Frame, Whittle's, The Stitching Post, Fabric.com, Quilts R Jewels, and Yoder's.
Stitch N Frame has a special sale every Thursday from selected fabrics in their store. I always watch for those. They're having a huge Winter Clearance right now with many Civil War fabrics included.

Thanks so much for all the great sites. Hope my question is helping out some other folks, too. :-)

I just got the latest Keepsake Quilting catalogue and it had a section of Civil War Fabrics and some patterns---not a huge section, but they had some.
