Mr. Clean Magic eraser works wonders also. I just used it on mine and WOW it was amazing... Love it..

I had really good results with the Magic Eraser when I got burned starch on the sole plate. Nothing else took it off, and I tried salt, waxed paper, dryer sheets, vinegar... I now keep a Magic Eraser on hand "just in case".
