    It really is a fun quilt to make. You can throw color and pattern rules to the wind, and really take this block to town! It's an awesome stashbuster, too. :) When you cut fabrics for other blocks, cut 5.5" squares and 2.5" strips to set aside. Organize by size, not color and pattern.

    Let me challenge all of you to try this pattern and see how addictive it is. How about a quilt made from this block, with pictures posted by spring? :) I'll take up my own challenge as well.

    I think this is good when you make them 'wonky' Make your border a little bigger, then using a square rule, twist and cut out so you end up with an elongated border trim, it looks really funky as they are all slightly different.....just to put a twist on it :lol: :lol: :lol:

    Hi I just bought some nickles and 2 1/2 strips and had no idea what to do with them. Thanks now I know exactly what to do with them. I am new here and really like this forum.
