Thank you so much for all the info, you guys are always so knowledgeable.
Possibly...In order to use it for quilting you may have to change out the feed dogs for different ones that have finer teeth. and of course a lighter needle....By the way, The knee lift is for lifting the pressure foot, not lowering and raising the feed dogs...

Singer makes lots of things you wouldn't think they made. I worked at a Singer plant when I was 17 and we made Nuclear Power plant training simulators and Military flight simulators.

WOW! What a find!
I would LOVE to go rummaging thru that house. I'm sure there are TONS of treasures to be found!
I'd do that BEFORE any burning goes on.

Definitely keepers....just think you could probably sew leather, sheepskin....the possibilities are endless. I would be buying masks and gloves and seeing what else gets unearthed. Magpie/Packrat/Fossiker Heaven!

The place is discusting and dangerous. Spent two days just in the addition cleaning all the rats nests out. The refrigerator was full of food from 2 years ago.
Screwed the door shut and trashed it.
Black mold is everywhere. Wore masks and gloves. Anything that was worth alot was already removed that was why the place was so trashed. They just threw everything around mostly on the floor where the rats made nests.
We did find some nice things but they were filthy. I spent two hours cleaning a stainless steal Sunbeam mixer that was expensive.
Lots of finds but the only thing that might be worth alot is a pepsi can of the Michael Jackson family tour back in the 90's.
