I just got my newest CT cat. Wow. They now have solids, blenders, and batiks. The blenders they call mirage. Great price too. $3.96 for Bl. and Mirage, and $5.96 for batiks. Large selection of colors too.

Haven't got Connecting Threads yet but I got KeepSake Quilting. Call me crazy but I save them to thumb through even though I can go online and see the same thing.

I keep them to look at just like quilting books. I even get an inspiration now and them of something I want to make, or something to incorporate into a next quiltl, whether or not I order anything from the catalog.

I felt so left out after I read this thread. I don't get the Connecting Thread catalog-----but I will now. I just signed up for it. I did get the KeepSake Quilting Catalog. I'm calling it my wish book. I "wish" I could get everything in it.

Did you check your order to make sure you had ordered 4 yards and were charged for 4 yards? If so, then they may have made a mistake in the cutting. Measurements are the same for everyone. Common fabric width is 42". One yard is 36". You can measure how much was cut by measuring from one cut to the other cut. (Width would be measured selvedge to selvedge.) If you ordered 4 yards and got less than 4 yards, you should contact their customer service department.

Some companies sell by the 1/2-yard, in which case I need to be very careful to double-check how much I am ordering. However, I just went to the Connecting Threads website and they sell by the yard.

I just got the Keepsake Quilting magazine also.....drool, drool. I have to hold myself back. I have so many UFO's and WIP's and specific fabric for projects. Does any one else have the problem of keep on buying when there is still projects to be done? It drives me crazy! As I drool once again over the Bali Pops page....
