Was on Fox news this morning. Figures, since I just recently retired and now have time to quilt. Should have been building a huge stash all those years when I didn't have much time for quilting.

Not to worry. Check out all the great sales online. I like Thousandsofbolts.com as do many of the quilters here. And there are others that have great sales. You can still find your "stash" at a reasonable price. Save the dollars for the piece that you find and "have to have".

There are plenty of other "favorite" places on line...maybe other will mention theirs!

Oh, and just have to tell you that your avatar looks just like a picture I have of my mom and dad. He did framing in his photography studio! Just love it!

I like connecting threads and just found whittles and their prices seem really good. Also fabric.com has some good prices

Do not forget to check out your local thrift stores---great bargains at times. I found 13 yards of beautiful muslin for 4.00 yesterday, 2 1/2 yards of printed cotton for 50 cents yesterday. Before that I got a whole bundle at goodwill for 1.61 and a really sweet piece with birds for 25 cents at another store. You just have to look often and you might even be able to get them to let you know when it comes in.

They all report negative stuff.

As for fabric, I just bought some 6.xx a yard moda at burgundybuttons.com. So it's out there.
