Just talked to my DH - we raise registered Angus cattle and I remembered that he said that there was "cotton" in the cattle feed - so I asked him about it - seems that they grind up the cotton seeds/hulls - what is left after the cotton is removed from the "balls/bolls" of cotton that you see on the plants. He says that is has lots of protein in it. Just for your information.

It sounds from the article almost like it's an internal government struggle within India's ministry, especially the part about the ban. It doesn't do they're country any good not to export as that is a major source of income for them it's not like there are a lot of items being produced in that country.

The bottom line is the cost of everything is going up it just depends on who it's getting blamed on right now we're blaming the high costs of things because of the high gas prices. I will continue to still shop around for fabric at reasonable rates and continue to build up my stash. I've only got 2 boxes of it so far - not nearly done yet lol
