Default Babylock Ellageo Owners--Question for you!

I have an opportunity to buy a used Babylock Ellageo. She is asking $950 and says it hasn't been used much as she has other machines. She says it comes with the extension table for extra big projects, the buttonhole embroidery hoop kit and designs (brand new), the border frame kit (brand new), sew steady table and other stuff. From what I'm reading about the machine on some threads on here, sounds like it's a good machine. Is the price good? If I test drive it, is there anything in particular I should check? I'm planning to talk to our local Babylock dealer Tuesday to see if they have any embroidery machines that would be comparably priced but wanted to get the opinions of those who actually own the machine!

I don't have the Ellageo, but I do have the Ellisimo and the Ellegante, I LOVE THEM!!!! I think after you do a little test drive on it, you will be in love as well and jump at the price.

I have the Ellageo Plus and does most every thing I want. Ask the dealer the difference between the Plus and the previous model Ellageo. Perhaps it can be upgraded too. I first bought the Ellure Plus and quickly upgraded the next day? I paid $3800 for my new machine, worth it to me!

It would be good to know the age of the machine. Is it the newer model or the old one that used floppy drives? There is a page on the front of the machine where you can see the stitch count. That might give you some idea how much it has been used. If the machine has ever been sent back to Babylock for repair, they often reset that stitch count, but still worth a look see. The difference between the Newer Ellageo and th Ellageo Plus is the fabric sensor and piviot feature. This has been a purchable upgrade, check with the local dealer.
