Craftsy classes and listening to them in the car. Dear Husbands may be able to help!
Hi ladies! I have the craftsy app, and I really want to listen to it in the car during my commutes, even if I can't watch it. However, I can't get it to play through my bluetooth. The classes are downloaded onto my iPhone and iPad so they're offline, but there's no sound. If anyone has any ideas or their husbands have any ideas, please let me know!
Thank you, lovely ladies!

Have you tried pushing the AUX/Mode button in your car? In my car it says Mode. It is a larger button to the left of my Radio. It switches my raido to my I-Pod. And don't forget, you may have to play with the sound a bit. Sometimes, I have to really turn the radio up. Or, it my be a simple on/off swith that is in your phone settings. My phone also works. It is an android.
I don't know if you've tried any of this and I hope it helps. Good luck.

When I mirror ("fling" or "cast" a show to the tv) using my Kindle, in order to hear a show I'm trying to watch, the volume on my Kindle needs to be turned up as well. Maybe that applies to your IPad. If that doesn't work, try restarting your device. If you're still having problems, try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it. Unfortunately you'll have to download your classes all over again. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Not sure about Iphones, but my android uses the same volume button for media sound as it does for call volume. You control it depending on what mode you are in. It might be ok when you are on the phone, but when you go to media, it is off. Also, when playing something back, even though you have the volume on on your device, it may be on mute on the video. You can check that by bringing up the play/pause bar at the bottom of the video. It will show a speaker. If there is a x next to it, the sound is off. It also could be the sound is all the way down on the video also. It will show as a vertical bar right above the speaker.

If your iPhone is Bluetooth synced to your car for calls you probably can't sync another device that way. Can you plug in through a USB or aux input? That's how I listen to my books on tape in the car from my iPad.
