A friend of mine forwarded her email on to me, and I bought the machine quilting class. It looks great...

I just took the Stupendous Stitching class and really enjoyed it. I love that the class is mine forever. Having both the written word and the video makes learning so much easier. My only advice to Craftsy would be to quit changing the prices...just set a price and stick to it. I find myself waiting for the price to come down from 59.95 to 29.95 then forget to check and miss it. Now they have upset some with the selective offer.

I have used a few, like Jenny Doan's. I found them quite useful for beginners etc.
They are a great reference to go and her methods are quite easy to follow. Just my
    opinion.

I took Pepper Cory's class on string quilts. I think she called it "Waste not. Want not." It is a very good class, due to Pepper's good teaching. ( I have had two other classes with her at John Campbell Folk School.)

I love the Craftsy classes--I'm signed up for most of the quilting ones. The instructors are quick to answer questions and always encouraging.

I am taking a few classes from craftsy.com and love them. Even if they say they are a certain amount, you can email them and tell them you want to take a certain class but can't afford the price and they'll reduce it to $15.00. I love their classes. I, too, am taking the free class. This month's block isn't my thing. I changed it up a bit. Made it an applique since I'm not crazy about hand quilting. You can still take the free class...just start with January and go from there to April. See if you like it. Once you belong, you have access to the classes forever.
