This block will be used on a crib bumper. Do you think the vinegar smell will stay on the fabric. I guess it will have to be washed? I think I would have to hand wash the block then put the bumper together.
White Vinegar dissapates. We used this all of the time in the garment industry. It works quite well for closing needle holes too. (They suck up like if you were to eat a lemon).
I am going to put this to the ultimate test. I've got some needle hole that need closing. I have never heard of this!!! Thanks so much for the info. I've been wondering what I was going to do!!!

I've used vinegar and water mixture (about 2-1 vinegar to water) to either take out a crease...or put on in (pants)...Sometimes it takes full stregth vinegar...I put it in a spray bottle...

I do that wash cloth thing too and it works well for me. I also love the Niagra non aerosal spray starch and it's much less $$$$ than Best Press. It's lightly scented and seems nice to me, as well as good results. Find it in the laundry supply aisle at your grocery store.

Faultless Magic Sizing in a spray can - not the starch, the fabric finish. It's economical, has a pleasant fragrance, and works for me every time.

I was reading through to see if anyone else suggested the Magic Sizing, and there it was the last one I read. It works great!

I love this spray....someone on here gave the recipe....I'm sorry I don't remember who!!! 2 cups distilled water, 1/2 cup Vodka, 10 - 12 drops of pure essential oil (your choice)--- mix, put in spray bottle.
