    Cool Cruise

Getting excited now. My girlfriend and I are going on an Alaskan Cruise with Bonnie Hunter in August and we got instructions and supply list today. Now it seems real. Went on a cruise to Alaska a few years ago and always wanted to go back, well now I'm going back and I will be quilting also, can't beat that.

I looked at that cruise, mentioned it to hubby and he laughed when he heard the price. Guess that means I have to live vicariously through others. :-) I hope you have a wonderful time. Be sure and share with those of us that can't go.

I hope you have a wonderful time. I am going on the Caribbean quilting cruise in Feb. Let us all know how it was.
I don't want to brag but I can still fit into the earrings I wore in high school.

Oh my gosh, I know it's not nice to be jealous - but I am! Have a fabulous trip, and share some stories and pictures when you get home!

Hubby and I are leaving for a 14 day Alaskan cruise at the end of the month. Not a quilting cruise. Would have to do something like that without my hubby.

I am going on the exact same cruise (not quilting part) 2 weeks earlier in August along with my DD and DGD. I was shocked at the additional cost to add the quilting part. Nearly triple of what we are paying. Usually the quilting only takes place during the days at sea which are only 2 on this trip. There is a fun quilt shop in Skagway called The Rushin Tailor. We went on the same itinerary 5 years ago and visited the shop. There is also a big store I think called Alaska Shirt Co. Great place to buy souviniers. Better price than the ship!
