I love seeing all the crumb blocks, especially when I see crumb pieces just like mine. Across the miles, we all have something in our stash and in our scraps that someone else loved enough to buy and save the scraps. Scrap sisterhood/brotherhood!!

These will finish at 5". I'm making them with an image on the fabric that I start off with, then build off of that. I was thinking I'd make 20, sash them, and make them into a baby quilt, then it will have a little "I Spy" thing going.

Another great thing about crumb blocks, I realised last night, is that there's no such thing as a mistake. I didn't like a few of the ones I'd made, mostly because one piece was too big or too dominant - so I cut them up and put them back in the box of scraps to use again!

I'm so impressed with the crumb quilts! I've never made one, but 'oh boy, do I have scraps! I am just finishing a scrappy log cabin, and still have piles of scraps. This is going to be my salvation! I also have a lot of orphan blocks from classes.....great way to cut them up and use them!
Thanks everyone for sharing your beautiful scraps with this site!

I found the idea from Bonnie Hunters site: http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/...bs-crumbs.html and I have just spotted a new one, Crumb Hearts  http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/...mb-hearts.html

She is such a talented lady and so generous with her patterns.

You are very welcome, the one really special thing that I have found out since starting quilting over 6 years ago, quilters are the most generous people that I have ever found, and oh so helpful, so I try to do the same and share.
