She has seen the quilt in progress and can't figure out why I don't have it finished! I'm just doing the Double Wedding Ring!
For her shower as favors I made everyone a Wonder wallet out of the fabric from the quilt I'm making. Everyone got a piece of her quilt.

I know I must finish this, so I don't disappoint them.
Take a deep breath. Do you "mother of the bride" stuff now. Tell them they get the finished quilt after the honeymoon. Don't let stress ruin the wedding, and all the prep that goes with that. And don't let stress ruin the quilt! Breath!

My granddaughter was married in May and her request was a Double Wedding Ring also. Fortunately she knows the time and effort required so is happy knowing she will get it by winter. I'm sure your daughter knows how time consuming the DWR is and will patiently wait until you can enjoy working on it. Concentrate on the wedding now.

I'm doing alot also! DD is getting married and reception at our house, outdoor with a sit down dinner and we are still figuring out where the tent is going! It is so big , where my dd wants it I don't think it will fit. Baking cookies today I think will make over 1000. I know that sounds silly to most, but in Pennsylvania that is the most expected at the reception. It's a very big deal. Wedding cookies! So busy today with that. My daughter lives in NYC so she's not here.
the big thing in NYC now is cupcakes for the wedding reception.

i've been to 6 wedding in the last 4 months and 5 of them had cupcakes.
