I just spent the day with my 3 GDs, Maria 15, Hannah, 8 and Alyssa, 7. Oh, my what a fun day we had. I couldn't believe how much fun the girls were having. I had bought 8 packs of 5" charms and the 3 of them divided them up and they each did something different and we worked non stop from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The youngest had never tried to sew. First she made a bag for her bracelet and then she was hooked. Could not get her off the machine so someone else could sew. We had 3 sewing machines going by the end of the night. The room looks like a tornado hit it and it was wonderful. Monday is President's Day and they are coming back for more. LOL What a great day. Will have to post some of their projects.

What a wonderful time. You may have started three more quilters on the way.

I'm looking forward to the pictures. I love to see a young quilter get started. It's a life skill that they will always enjoy.

Take a lot of pictures so you will have the memories in a few years. This is a marvelous start for their life time hobby!
