Deb Tucker Rulers
#11
I made four of these the first time I used the tool. They aren’t sewn into the top yet, but they are exactly 4 by 8 and the quarter inch seam allowance is dead on.

I have the Tucker Trimmer and like it a lot, but I find I always have to get the instructions out every time. I forget how to use it. She does have some very useful laminated guides that I keep in a drawer with the rulers. Must admit that I don't really enjoy her method of making something oversize and then cutting it to size. It's just too time-consuming.

I also have a couple of them and would not want to make half square triangles without her tool. Whenever they are on sale...even 20% off, I try to find a new one that I might need for a future project. My bucket list is long......

They are worth every penny and MORE! If you can go to a show where she or one of her Certified Instructors is vending (A Studio 180 Design booth), you can get a "show special" price. I have every tool (not ruler as you don't use them to measure) that she has and use every ONE with exception of Tucker Trimmer II. I have yet to find a pattern or block where I am using 1/4 and 3/4 inch measurements. With her short video tutorials, if you forget how to use them (can we say older brains don't always retain info as well as they used to?) you can pull up the YouTube video to refresh your memory.
