Thanks to everyone for their response on bindings. I think I'll save the bias for curvy quilts or stripes. The straight is so easy to apply and I've gotten pretty good with my corners.

I'm a fan of straight, since it's so simple. Cut a few strips, sew, attach, and move on to hand attach. At that point, I'm usually rushed to finish the quilt, and/or just plain tired of it, so I want to do something that gives me a few, quick, long strips

Gramof6: how can you make continuous bias binding for a queen size quilt from less than a yard of fabric???
