I believe they are different sized shapes that go into cone threads to adapt them to regular use on your machine thread spindle. Sounds handy but no idea how to use them.

    Default deelybob

Deelybob! I had to look that up on the net. I have heard of the adaptors but did not now what they were called. LOL while growing up my Grand mothers referred to anything they could not remember the correct name for as the deelybob! Have not heard that word in years.

I have this and use it all the time. The different pieces can be used with different thread cones and spools to make them fit your machine. You don't need to use all the parts at once. My old Singer needs different ones than my Husqvarna as the spool pins are quite different. I just keep trying until I have the best fit so that the cone doesn't flop or rattle around.

That is always what I thought a deelybob was....anything you couldn't remember the correct name for...or anything you never knew the correct name for. But, like you, I have not heard the term in years. Nice to know it has a current meaning.
